Jil du Gal & Company

A day late and a sovereign short, Jil du Gal and her four companions showed up in Turn 16 to take the same job which lead the party to the Sunless Citadel. The party encountered them after returning to Oakhurst to claim their rewards. Jil and her associates were none too happy to find that the job had been completed and they had wasted a trip.

With the majority of the party heading to Hommlet on an errand, Mauser took it upon himself to return to the Sunless Citadel to finish plundering its secrets and to assure that Belak and his evil tree were surely destroyed.

Mauser enlisted the charming Jil and her associates Archangel, Eiger, Dhavut Stonebreaker and White Spider to accompany him back to the Sunless Citadel promising them plenty of reward for their effort. Once there, Mauser and his new friends found an organized kobold clan with Calcryx's cold breath at their disposal. Only Mauser, Jil, Eiger and Archangel survived the encounter in Turn 18.

After being herded to the lower level of the Sunless Citadel, Mauser was forced to part company with Jil and her friends under less than ideal circumstances only to meet up with them again in the Underdark under the guise of Gregory Hucrele. While an uncomfortable alliance was formed between Mauser/Gregory and Jil and her friends, Jil's recklessness nearly proved to be her undoing in Turn 26 but Mauser's insincerity proved to be his in Turn 27 when Eiger's sword ended his life.
